Dear Other - it's lovely to see you taking such a paternal interest in your new companion. You know wee Grendel has got to be homesick for his mama and his little brothers and sisters for the next while and all the comforts of the snuggly nest so he'll be needing extra love and hugs and lots and lots of reassurance. So don't be afeared you are overdoing it or that you might spoil him. He's a darlin' boy to be sure.
