I just got back from Ireland. This neolithic tomb is located near the city of Sligo in the northwest of the island at a site called Carrowmore. In the background you can see another much larger tomb on top of the mountain. The one on the horizon is known as Mebh's tomb. Carrowmore is quite an intriguing place because there are literally dozens of tombs still visible, both in the immediate area and on all of the mountains that lie on the horizon. Most of them date to times before the great pyramids in Egypt. You can see structures that are anywhere from 5000 to 7400 years old. It's nothing short of amazing.
