La Playa Baconao in Cuba. It was a bit rocky, but there were lots of coral fragments and sea shells to be found. If you visit, watch your step, because there are a pile of thorny plants just beyond the mangroves at the edge of the beach. One of them grabbed my sandal clad foot, and wouldn't let go too easily. Tenacious plants with an attitude guarding the lovely beach.
